kagari arnoldi is an artist based in the uk. born in japan, since moving to england she has enjoyed a varied art career, beginning with observational sketches and later specialising in watercolours and stylised botanical drawings. kagari’s later training in interior design gave her a deeper understanding of the use of textiles and soft furnishings in art, while traditional japanese uses of silk for gift wrapping, furoshiki, and wall hangs, drew her towards silk painting.

kagari now focuses most of her time on silk painting, drawing on other artistic passions including photography to inspire her work.

she has exhibited her work at various art and design fairs around london and the netherlands. each of kagari’s silks is a hand-painted original design.
